There’s a buzz on the twitter right now about verifying your website and setting up Twitter Analytics. I did a quick search for a how to and realized well, there isn’t a how to (yet).
So heres your How To: How to verify your website and setup Twitter Analytics!
You’ll need to start by going to https://analytics.twitter.com and apply for an account.
Shortly after that, Twitter will review your account and approve you to run sponsored tweets. They’ll send you an email that looks like this:
Not that you ever have to run a Twitter Ad Campaign but this is your entry into the analytics.
Once you have been approved, go to your dashboard and under analytics you’ll see a drop down. Click on Websites
Next, they’ll give you a snippet of code to insert into your website. If you have a hooks in your dashboard it could be very easy.

Next, add the URL to your website and click the verify button – that’s all you need!
Congrats! You’ve just verified your website with Twitter and setup Twitter Analytics! w00t!
