So I got a new phone yesterday. I was tossing around between the iphone 5, 5S or Samsung Galaxy S4. I even asked what people what they thought over on Facebook.
In the end, I thought it best to go with the Galaxy S4. I’ll have a post about the ‘why’ soon. I logged into Facebook today and was greeted by this:
Guess what? I’m testing the Facebook App for Android!
I joined the Google Group, downloaded the beta version and also joined the Facebook Beta Tester Group as well.
I don’t think I’m special, I think they chose me just because of my recent activity (downloading the app in the Google Play store for the new phone). Actually, I may be a better than average beta tester for them as I know what info they need to know if and when I report a bug. No matter, I’m a guinea pig when it comes to beta testing things. Wish me luck!
Oh as far as this new version, here’s what they say it fixes.
