How to move your wordpress site away from GoDaddy

Why would you want to move away from GoDaddy?  I’ve never been a fan of ‘NoDaddy’ but amongst other things they support SOPA.  I’m an even bigger NON Fan of SOPA!

Ok, What’s SOPA? 

It could be the end of the internet as we know it!  Instead of a boring high brow explanation, here’s a lighter one I found from Karen.  She still covers all the basics but in a laypersons way.

Who would I recommend?  I like BlueHost (affiliate link) and have been very happy with the shared hosting there.  You can transfer everything from one host to another and your site would never be down.

I’d rather not be seeing a bunch of this…
