WordPress version 4.3 is out but before you update there are two really important things you should know.

Here’s a short video on the changes. Nothing earth shattering but an important update none the less.
That said – I really like the better passwords. I was watching the conversation closely in slack about that.
There are two very important things that you need to know.
- If your site was built on Genesis and there were customizations made to those files you’ll want to update to the newest version of Genesis first, and then update to the latest version of WordPress.
2. This is even more important – remember to ALWAYS Backup your entire site before updating. Always.
