It’s still a work in progress but there are a few quiet changes that have been made to the site. The one you’ll probably notice right off the bat is up on the top right.
The top right of any website is generally reserved for the “Call to Action”. In my case that would most likely be an order for a custom Facebook Application for a Page.
I created an image advertising just that. Clicking on the image takes you to the Facebook section on my website which better explains what I’m going to do for you.
Speaking of Custom Facebook Applications (Pages), I’ve redesigned my complete system from the ordering process to the final result. Each App is still custom made – but now you can put the same app on as many pages as you like! This is HUGE as some people have hundreds of pages!
Below that is a gallery of Facebook Pages I’ve created. I’ve done quite a few and each and every one is very different from the rest (one of the best reasons I hand build each one). You can click on an image to zoom in. HINT: If you hover your mouse over the image you’ll see a link to the actual tab within Facebook.
But I don’t just do Facebook Pages. There’s a few more things… So below that I placed a HIRE MIKE button. It links to a single page that lists and branches to various other things you can hire me to do. The last thing I would want to hear is someone saying, “I didn’t know you did that?” after the fact.
One of the more interesting things on that page is the “Retainer”. It’s just a concept in beta right now. It actually was started in conversation with my friend Jason Farris.
Down a little bit more on the sidebar you’ll see another button
As each post is published, it goes out to Feedburner. They email the post to everyone who subscribes. It’s a great way to get posts delivered right to your inbox. One of the best things is that you can change, cancel or modify your subscription anytime you like. Incredibly, it’s a very popular way of reading the blog for some. Hey, any way you want to read it is fine by me! Of course there’s never going to be spam. (did I really have to say that?)
That’s it. Interested to see what you think of the changes.
Oh, one more thing. You’ll notice there’s no “Contact” page. I debated over adding one. Do you think I need one? How fast can you find my phone number?
