Sometimes I’ll use a photo or screen capture that illustrates a point. I’ll also use an image more as a pun. No matter which, it’s images are what make our posts interesting and appealing to the eye.
What happens when you don’t have the right image? Do you do a Google Image search and just copy and paste the image you like? Only if your entire family are copyright lawyers! You see, most everything you see on the internet is automatically copyright implied. Even if it doesn’t say it – it is.
I like a Plugin called simply called Photo Dropper. It pulls images from Flickr with the correct Creative Commons License, adds the proper photo credit and does some other things..
You can find it here: http://www.photodropper.com/wordpress-plugin/
With the Photo Dropper plugin, you can now search millions of Flickr photos and add them to your WordPress posts with just 1 click, all without leaving your WordPress dashboard. Attribution links are automatically added underneath the images to comply with the Creative Commons license rules. It’s the easiest way to add photos to your blog. Period. And best of all – it’s Free!
I just did a quick search for “amazing eyes”

How’s that look to you? I did that all with one click!
* That said, I write all my posts outside of WordPress (in Live Writer) so I have to wait to publish this before I can use Photo Dropper
