Don’t you just love sensational headlines?
Obviously this blog isn’t dead and in fact I don’t think the act of blogging is dead at all. I’ll even make the assertion that with all the micro blogging happening (Facebook, Twitter, Google Plus, Flickr, and on and on…) that true blogging is even more important today.
Today, I have the honor to speak to the Women’s Council of REALTORS about blogging and video. The title of my presentation is aptly… “The BLOG is DEAD”
My friend, Rodil San Mateo will be talking about video. If you know me, you know just how well that’s going to dovetail together. The event will be at the beautiful McCormick & Kuletos in San Francisco (which happens to be very close to the world headquarters of WordPress) overlooking the San Francisco Bay! That’s the good news.
The bad news? If the weather holds out the Blue Angels are supposed to be practicing at the very same time. If you’ve ever been in Downtown SF during Fleet Week you know the noise a F/A-18 buzzing the roof top with it’s afterburners can make. It’s ok, I can speak loud.
I did create a presentation for this event and like most every one of my presentations it’s heavy in images and not so big in bullets.
