Want to get into Guest Posting? Never use a stock photo. Simple as that.
Well, let’s say that it’s a great start…
So, I just got this email. I’m not going to even try to hide the details.
Apparently I have a “one of a kind web blog”. Hey that’s pretty cool.
Julie looks like a nice, professional enough person, eh?
Using Chrome for a browser, if you hover over an image and right click you’ll see the following option.

Here’s what happens when you do. (click HERE for the actual search link)
Looks like besides being a busy (and happy) business woman, Julie also has a budding career as a stock photo model! 😉
The first result featured her in their header.
As for the other results, they are mostly all stock photo archives where you can buy your own little piece of Julie.
She does write articles (or whoever is behind the curtain). If you search hard enough you’ll find the same bio on posts scattered around the internet.
Moral of the story: Besides the creation and use of a fake profile here’s why you won’t be seeing her soon as a guest writer here. Behind it all, it’s an SEO ploy to get links back to a website. Google looks at legitimate links back to websites as a vote of trust. If Google sees a bunch of sites all linking back to one site they’ll suspect a link farming scam. When that happens they start removing ALL the sites in the farm. That means AreWeConnected.com could be delisted in Google! If you are going to get a backlink from me, you’ll have to earn it.
For the record: Her website allows a student to buy exam papers instead of writing it themselves. You’ve heard the quote, “How you do one thing is how you do everything.” I don’t think I want to be associated with something like that. Would you?
