I’ve always been a big fan of Gary Vee. Recently I’ve noticed a growing trend around the internet that I want to share. The concept is simple. Jump on camera and answer questions. Why? Because the chances are, if one person asked, there are countless others wondering the same. By ‘wondering’ I mean searching Google.
Definitely inspired by Gary, Jason Farris is doing a video chat where he’s answering a question and covering a particular topic.
Probably inspired by Gary, Dean over at TPREG is shooting some great organic video, answering questions and then sharing that on the site, in Facebook, and even in Instagram. Awesome stuff guys! Is anyone else doing this? (you should be)
I thought I might as well jump into the game myself. This first one’s a little long because I wanted to illustrate where this is all coming from. They’ll be much much shorter in the future.
This week I tackle:
- “Can I use different parts of different themes on my site?”
- “How do I send different newsletters to different lists in MailChimp?”
- “How do I remove negative results from Google?”
As for the sites I mentioned – here’s the Gary Vee Channel on YouTube
Here’s the latest post from Jason at FresYes
And here’s the video I shared from Dean at TPREG.
Oh, and here’s more info on a DMCA takedown request.
If you have a question for me – just ask. You can do so as a comment here, on Twitter, on Facebook – anywhere! I’m always listening.
What do you think? Should I do this again?
