My Friday started out with a small little tweet from my friend Clint Miller…
That’s good news as he’s fighting a very big battle with Cancer right now. If he’s tweetin’ he’s feelin better and yes, today was one of those days. Tweet On Clint!
I thought I might help a bit. I do follow Lance and while the Lance hashtag was a start – let’s use twitter to send a message directly to Lance, eh?
Having met my share of big time celebs in the day, I’ve always taken the approach that they are just like us, real people. Talk to them like real people, with dignity and respect – you know, golden rule stuff we learned in Kindergarten. I wanted to pull a little more people into the fray so I went over to Facebook and posted my tweet into a group setup to support our good friend Clint.
And then, being Friday, I was off to a couple of appointments that took me offline for the rest of the day. I just came home and was very happy and surprised to find…
Lance, I know there’s hundreds of thousands of people that need help and at times it may seem a little overwhelming that everyone wants a piece of you. That fact that hundreds of people RT’d for Clint and you took the time to record this message means so much to him. It really made his day! You may not also realize is that you also made the day of thousands of his friends. You now have a thousand new “friends” who owe you one.

This is LIVESTRONG.
I’m already a huge supporter of http://www.livestrong.org/ and Movember and because of Lance I also support California Cancer Research Act. If you are a friend of Clint’s, or just touched by the genuine person Lance is, I urge you to do something.
