I’m off at a local brokerage today holding a ‘hands on’ workshop for local agents.
It’s an “Advanced Facebook: Timeline for Pages” workshop.
Today we’ll be covering everything there is to know about creating, maintaining, and maximizing a Facebook Page in the new Timeline era.
It may be a secret, but I present 2 hour long workshops on a wide variety of topics. Everything from Facebook 101 to Advanced Video Shooting and Production. Each of these are intense, hands on events. No sales, no ‘20% off to the first 10 buyers‘ kind of crap. Honest information, Nothing held back, everything divulged! Phew! I’ll get off my soapbox for now.
This next part might sound really strange coming from such a digitally connected guy such as myself…
The workshop is not recorded nor streamed. It’s not on webinar. It’s live, but in a smaller more intimate setting. Yes, there are two pages worth of notes (I call it a cheat sheet) but it isn’t online and only available to those physically attending the workshop.
Why?
When I say “Hands on” I mean 20 to 40 Agents, laptops at the ready, actually doing – not just listening. We cover a lot of information, the session is fun, lively and info rich. I have found over time that by limiting the size and by making everyone be ‘mindfully present’, they learn the most and they learn by doing.

We’ll be covering all the new tricks with Timeline. We’ll learn how to best engage others, drive people to specific tabs, tie in multiple Pages, and how to tap into our friends, friends of friends, and even those we haven’t yet met. I’ve also got some super secret tricks up my sleeve that I never write about.
Depending on the speed of the class, we’ll even delve into advertising on Facebook and how to run an inexpensive yet effective campaign. True bonus material that saves them big cash! They really like that part.
