I like to challenge myself each month on weird stuff. This month I’ve challenged myself to produce a video each day that is short yet informative, educational, and actionable.
Here’s Day 15
Ever wonder why some people ask silly questions on a daily basis on Facebook?
It’s not like they really care about your answer.
What they are really doing is trying to build up their EdgeRank.
It’s the EdgeRank (and some other important stuff) that determines what is shown in another person’s newsfeed.
Essentially, the more you interact with my profile, the more apt it will be that you see links and other stuff I share in the future.
For a real estate agent that might be links on their Page for their Listings or other promotional items.
So, answer those silly questions and you’ll start seeing more and more of the not so silly promotional stuff a person posts as well.
* Further proof that sales and marketing people ruin everything!
Is there a topic you’d like to see me cover?
