Not sure if you’ve seen this but I’ll point it out anyway as it’s not a prominent change. Facebook recently added the functionality to better direct where you share.
It used to be (and the default still is) that anything you shared went directly to your profile. With the new function you can share to a specific person (still public), a group you belong to (just like the SEND button), or even as a message to someone (this would be sharing the post privately between you and your friend).
I’ve said before that the SHARE button is by far my preferred option (Comment, Tweet, LIKE or SHARE) and this new functionality makes even more of my favorite!
