Everyone has a profile box on their Facebook Sidebar. Every Facebook Page does as well. It’s just a simple little box that allows you to write something about you or your business. Often times I see people entering their website or blog in this and that’s great – but they missed something. They forgot the http:// before their URL.
Why is that important?
The addition of those 7 characters changes that from something like this
www.fanpagemagic.com to something like this http://www.fanpagemagic.com
Which of those two URL’s did your mouse go towards?
You put the link on the sidebar for a purpose right? You want people to go there.
So why make them cut and paste the URL to get there?
How many people might you lose in the process?
Go make your links LIVE links!
